Overview:
This window is used to enter a check for the current bank account.
Use this window when you have manually written a check and need
to record it in the check register.
This window varies from the "Enter a Bill - Already Paid" option
in that you do not have to setup a company just to enter the
check. However, you are sacrificing the company statistics
kept using the other method.
Fields:
Check # - Enter the number of the check you wrote.
Check date - Enter the date you wrote the check for.
Amount - Enter the amount of the check.
Name - Enter the name you wrote the check to. To enter a
void check, enter "Void" as the name, the amount will
then automatically be changed to zero.
Catagory - You may optionally assign a catagory to this check.
If assigned, the catagory statistics will be updated to reflect
the payment.
Description - Description of the check. This field is optional.
Save for taxes - Check if the bill is tax deductible.
If checked, the check will be highlighted on the "Check History
Report".
